    Enemies and Treasure Chests

You can collect weapons from enemies and Treasure Boxes during single-player battles. Increasing a stage's Intensity using the Fiend's Cauldron makes it easier to get hold of more powerful weapons.

    Spending Hearts

Before battle begins, you can visit the Arms Altar to exchange your hearts for weapons. Hearts are received when enemies are defeated. Increasing a stage's Intensity using the Fiend's Cauldron means you will get more hearts for defeating enemies. You can also grind down unwanted weapons in exchange for even more hearts.

    Fusing Weapons

At the Arms Altar, you are able to fuse two weapons together in order to create a new weapon. Fusing weapons allows you to change their type while retaining some of their original attributes. Note, however, that there are laws that govern the fusion of weapons.
(Cannon x Blade = Staff; Claws x Staff = Arm etc.)

    Multiplayer Rewards

You will sometimes receive weapons as rewards for completing multiplayer battles. The rewards will be better if there are many players taking part, and especially if these players are your friends.

Occasionally, a "special reward" will be given to a randomly selected player who took part in a battle…

    Weapon Gems

You can use StreetPass to exchange weapon gems. An exchangeable gem can be made from a weapon that you own. (Even if it is used to make a gem, the weapon is not lost.)

Gems received from other people can be turned back into weapons by spending hearts. The more powerful the weapon is, the more hearts it will cost.

You can also fuse two gems together to make weapons, though this also requires you to spend some hearts.
